Summer 2020 Transfer Window (Extended Version)

Not fussed about the fee for Bennett - we didn't pay anything for him anyway plus money off the wage bill.

Did fine for us & thank him for the joy of the Bristol City winner in the last second

I didn't say I cared or was bothered, just that a player we thought 9 months ago we could get £5m for has gone foc and that gap is purely down to Covid

All the best, Benno.

Will be remembered for 1) The Goal at Bristol City 2) The challenge v Chelsea where he turned into Bolt for 5 seconds and 3) Proving a high % of Wolves fan wrong (Think Jinky was one of the few on here to call it a good signing whilst the rest of us was "meh, he will be 7th choice under Nuno")

Probably but at least we aren't Stoke who wanted north of £20m for Butland just over a year ago and have to settle for somewhere around £1m today

Think the £5m was always optimistic and Leicester had no interest in paying it. They agreed to it knowing they were never going to play him to trigger the deal.

But £5m is nothing to PL teams so we hoped we might get it if he did well/they had a crisis (they did and they still played Morgan), but it was never going to happen and both parties realistically knew it. Was 6 months off the wage bill and there was probably a fee.

Best tackle I’ve ever seen, pure class.

I dunno, Jack Price hoofing No Neck Forestieri after he'd got Sako sent off might beat it.
