Summer 2021 transfer window

Have we been linked with him? I know we’ve been linked with Souttar

I'm linking us with him :)

I don't think so, other than in generic "he might go and all these clubs need a defender" type stuff.

Is that the one Burnley tried to sign in January?

I'd like to see us take a punt on Marcus Edwards.

Young, can play AMC or on the right, fast skillful player with a decent potential.

I'm sure we are keeping an eye on him tbf!

Bizzare that. Appreciate you don't see the context beyond that but the way he is walking about at the start of it he looks wasted, even though it looks like the middle of the day.

Linked with a forward from Gent, Roman Yaremchuk.

Know absolutely fuck all about him but strikers taller than 6 feet coming from Belgium usually don't fare well at a higher level from what I've seen.

Lukaku says hi.

edit - and random combination of metrics.

They really are building a tremendous squad. That’s where we need to aim to be.
They also still regularly play Marc fucking Albrighton, tbf. I'm not convinced that there's very much to separate our clubs right now (in the grand scheme). They have some excellent players but more than a few still see the pitch for them that just aren't very good.

For man that pushes against stereotypes, that's some claim

Oh, I'm sure the actual stats don't bear me out. Although, to be clear, I was referring more to players who build a career off the back of being successful in the Belgian league, rather than Belgian nationals.

I guess I don't think of Lukaku because he was still 19 (or 20?) when he moved to Chelsea.

That's... not an unreasonable observation, to be fair. I should be more mindful.

I am struggling to think of the last "big" striker to come from the Pro League and be successful, though.
