Summer 2021 transfer window

Apologies I did not know where you play you first full 90 minutes thats where you will spend the reest of your career
What are you on about? You said OO played well last night in a deep midfield role and would be good in that position going forward.

He didn't play there, he played right wing.

He showed qualities that suggested he could play there tbf, but didn't actually play there - so there's that too :)

I've never seen him play better at 23s level than when he was at CH, either in a two or three. But we seem to have given up on that.

He might be a good CH, but realistically no way would Nuno give him game time there - I like him a lot, but he'd be nailed on for a goal a game given away. And unless you play 3 atb then his strengths of running with the ball would be lost too.

The way he moved the ball at times he looked like NDombele.

Other times he looked a competition winner. Don't think he's a good RW mind.

He's going to be carefully managed for a long while yet - he's basically missed out on all of his junior career due to injury. He joined the academy in 16/17 and he's played just over 2250 minutes of football since at all levels. It is astonishing that he's already starting games at this level with such a background to be honest.

That's bang on - if he can develop to match his potential then it will be fantastic. We need to manage his expectations though and that might prove a challenge.

Wolves tweeting/facebooking a "Looking ahead to our future" with a video of MGW, Vitinha, OO and RAN all featuring makes me think we are nailed on going to sign RAN and Vitinha? Or am i reading too much in to it?

I think with Marçal being more brittle than tracing paper, Vinagre surely off (we have a chance of decent money or a good swap there) and Jonny out until next year, RAN is as good as nailed on. Plus French finances are proper fucked, Angers aren't getting what we offered them last year.

Vitinha will happen too I'd have thought, we've been too cautious with him.

We'd be daft to put out a video like that if we weren't going to sign them

RAN was always going to be signed as he has improved every week.

And last night inks in the Vitinha deal as well.

I can't wait to see him in a game where he is actually given time and space on the ball. When Allardyce made the sub he often had 3-4 men around him and still passed to a Wolves shirt.

I think he is going to be ridiculously good. Clearly got a bit of a telepathic link with Fabio which is promising.

Assuming they've gone through the Porto youth levels together - Vitinha is 20 and Fabio 18 right?

We sign the two kids we had on loan and Silva looking like he may develop into a good player too. All of a sudden, the summer recruitment isn’t looking so bad after all.

Four games to go, let’s give these kids as much game time as possible, and then let’s never speak of this season again.

We could have one hell of a team in two seasons. Maybe less if they follow the trajectory Neto went on.

It's almost as if people knew what they were doing in recruitment ;)
