Summer 2021 transfer window

Unrelated, but what's with the overwhelming number of English clubs called something like "Rovers" or "Wanderers"?

Always riled me up when we were in the Prem alongside Bolton (and I don't have the remarkable hatred for that club that many born-and-raised Wolves' supporters seem to).
Totally related but what is it with American teams being named after animals, and some of them pretty shit like "Beavers"? ;)

The Athletic's reporting that the hope at the club is that Patricio will stay, and that Lage's made it clear to him that he wants him to stick around, but the net's cast wide for a replacement, with us also looking at Danny Ward and Sam Johnstone as potential replacements.

Also...
One promising Premier League fringe player told The Athletic he feels totally in the dark about his next career move now that the club’s manager has departed.

“Last season, I was sent out on loan with a view to impressing the manager who has now left. He had a plan in place for me and I was waiting to hear what his thoughts were for next season before deciding whether to go back out on loan, or even look for a move elsewhere if he didn’t fancy me,” the player explains.

“The new manager might not even know anything about me. So I’m now going to have to wait to hear what his thoughts are, possibly train during pre-season to show him what I’m about, and then decide what to do after that. I suppose you have to expect these things in football but it’s just so frustrating because I want to hit the summer running, whether that be with my parent club, out on loan, or somewhere else. Players like me who are on the fringes get overlooked during times of change.”
Hi, Morgan.

If Romano says Sa is the replacement then it's him.

A Millwall fan just asked me about Sanderson thinking that he is about to sign on loan?

I would presume - Sa number 1 choice BUT if the Rui stuff drags on we could lose him so it makes sense to have a back up to the back up

Does anyone know if Connor Ronan's loan expired at the end of last season of next season ?

Anyone know if his injury is long term or short term ?

It expired at the end of the season and it was only a broken toe I seem to recall so he should be fine for pre season

I mean if you owned a franchise in Detroit you would def call it lions and try to distract from the fact that you're in detroit. sounds better than "the car assemblers".

not our fault the english can't pick cooler nouns.
