I'll be stunned if Aaronson lives up to his price tag.

I think I will wash my hands of the transfer thread just as I did my season ticket. You all carry on. It's utterly fucking boring.

Hoever gone to PSV.

No option to buy though, shame.

No point having an option/obligation anyway as no one knows his true value. Could put it at £10m which could either be genius and they wouldn’t do the deal or terrible and we look like idiots.

So a year of first team football will hopefully mean we could shift him if he’s good but not great, a profit if he turns out to be great or maybe even play here.

Selling him for an obligated £3-5m is no real benefit. Much like MGW there’s a lot to lose selling him and not much to gain.

According to Steve Madeley in The Athletic today, Neves and Moutinho are looking like they might be staying, and Nunes, Ferdandez and Palinha are all very unlikely (particularly if Neves stays).

Sorry to say it, but if Neves being sold is the price of a squad refresh, him staying would be a bit of a disaster for us. This team is horribly stale as it is.

I don’t think Madeley knows anything. Both the articles I’ve read from him so far have seemed to have just been him filling space

Madeley has been getting bugged by Wolves fans on pretty much every SM post to do something on our transfer targets etc, so he has, but he’s told us nothing we don’t already know.

- Interested in Nunes/Fernandez but both unlikely, particularly if Neves/Moutinho stay, which looks increasingly likely
- Moutinho is now a free agent but we’re “confident” he’ll sign
- we’ll sell Donk if someone shows interest because he could go for free next year

I didn’t realise Donck was out of contract next year. No way we’re getting £20m for him like I saw some rumours suggest!

If Neves stays I don't expect we will do much incoming business. I think any talks of a major squad refresh depend on that sale. I love Neves and i'd obviously rather keep him in an ideal world, I just think if we do we will be stuck with largely what we had which is pretty depressing.

And in serious danger of being relegated under this manager.

He isn't really, we have a 1 year option

This squadish with this manager goes down, it's a certainty imo. If not Neves then we need to get £40m from Traore, MGW, Sanderson etc quickly. The fact this lot won't spend without having to sell is pathetic though, the club earns the money, they are now a bunch of parasites

I think Fosun are in trouble, based on what was posted yesterday and the way they are running us at the moment.

The way we are run is down to Jeff rather than Fosun.

Jeff has set the plan on how we will operate..Fosun are treating us like all their investments/purchases. They drop someone in and leave them in charge to decide the way forward.
They set them targets etc but just leave them to do their job.
They will only be concerned if their targets are not met.
Now for us as fans, he is not doing much right but for Fosun he is doing a great job

Prem Team - Tick
Creating a Brand - Tick
Increasing income - Tick

Not even going to pretend I understand the stuff from yesterday but if they are in trouble and decide to offload us, we will soon know but that won't be leading our footballing strategy as we are seemingly sticking to the same plan of the last couple of years.
