Season long loan confirmed. Good move even if the original plan seemed to be for Bruno to assess him in pre-season. This is probably the last loan before we sell so hopefully has a strong season

Waste of time for me. Sell him if you don't think he's up to it.

I tend to agree however the club seems willing to play the loan game lottery in the hope they'll make money. Worked with Mir but has yet to pay off with plenty of other small gambles that we have made.

Cutrone. That went well.

Maybe if we didn't have a total nobody managing the team that might help.
Perhaps I should have specified looking at players who want to be at Wolves irrespective of their ability - or lack of it.

I guess that means Jonny isn't going anywhere though.
If he stays it also means - someone correct me if I am misremembering - that he will have to play RWB which I think was the cause of his fall out with Bruno (as he thought he was better as LWB)

It's all hearsay but apparently they fell out because Lage decided it was a good idea to speak to him like shit in front of everyone. Because his man management skills are on a par with those of Dave Jones. His football management skills aren't much if any better.

It really wouldn’t surprise me if we sold Jonny and went into the season with RAN, Semedo and the u23 wing backs

It would definitely surprise me as that would be really, really, fucking stupid.

That would mean going into the first game with RAN and probably Bolla at wb (or chiqinho) Semedo won't be fit for the season start.

Ah ok I take it back then, I didn’t realise Semedo had fucked his hamstring that badly

Well gone into how many seasons with just 3 central midfielders?
Going in under in other positions wouldn't be a huge surprise would it.

The E&S is full of fascinating insights today. …

It is understood Lage was particularly impressed with Giles in his brief spell back at Wolves in the winter and is keen to give him an opportunity in pre-season

To be fair it does go on to say that he could be loaned out but either the inside knowledge is pure guesswork or decisions about players futures is totally out of the hands of the coach.

Just recycling comments made in January aren't they on Giles. Comments then were he would get a chance but I wonder if Bueno stepping up has pushed him ahead of Giles as a back up option.
