Summer 2022 Transfer Window

If Neves absolutely has to leave us, it will be beautiful to watch him play for Barcelona.

What a guy, what a player and what memories he’s created for all of us over the last five years.

With a bit of luck he’ll come back to us for a swansong when small-time Jeff is just a distant patronising memory.

Barcelona want Raphinha and they have tried to get Leeds to do swaps or accept staggered payments and Leeds have basically said 55m upfront or no deal.

They are piss taking cunts who want everything on their terms due to the situation they have put themselves in. After this Traore debacle they should be telling them to pay the money for Neves or fuck off.

Here we go again. 'Chasing' players that will have absolutely no interest in joining us.

We can't just shit on every scenario that unfolds! 😅
I think there has to be an element of drawing conclusions to what we are doing rather than what we might do.

Now if in 6 weeks we still haven't sold Neves and/or haven't brought people in then they'll deserve stick, but right at this moment it IS only June 1st.

My prediction though is that we take ages to sell Neves, possibly not even doing it until the start of the season, then we have a mad trolley dash and sign utter dross for far too much money.

No doubt Sellars will be pushing hard for us to be able to spend twenty quid of it

Even with buying RAN we broke even for transfers last summer didn't we?

Vinagre money goes on the Hwang deal instead probably mind you...

They were announced at the same time, so the link was certainly implied

We've been linked with Brereton Diaz, which actually wouldn't be a bad signing, 22 goals in 37 last season, only 23, home grown status, on a free (although a tribunal fee I'd imagine as he'd under 24) and of course this sews up South American market for Shi.

No brainer, genuinely.

Is he any good? I saw him a couple of times and he looked like a carthorse, appreciate it might be an outlier though

Decent goal scoring record and can play across the front 3.

I see Leeds and others are interested.
