Adama - hamstring injury in training - gone for a scan .

I expect this is posted elsewhere by /common knowledge among those who dissect such matters, but in the absence of actual transfer information ...

Our profit is much higher than it actually should have been due to a write off of a loan from Fosun (£127m).

Our spend per player will be higher than a lot of clubs as we habitually run a very small senior squad AND a lot of our contracts are weighted towards performance bonuses (on a team level rather than individual) which don't enter the calculations.

The big jump in wages : turnover from 2019 to 2021 does still confuse me a bit. They're never going to properly explain it though so whatever.

Does underline that the club makes money on its own - we haven't sold the family silver or anything, we hover around a £0 net spend and have done for a while - so we don't need Fosun to chuck millions in and no-one sensible is asking them to, and they don't need to be fleecing match going fans in the name of "the club needs income to compete" as it's bollocks on a number of levels. Just spend what we make. Loads of headroom. And FFP has never ever been a consideration.

The figure from the next accounts will hopefully clear things up. Should reset to a more accurate figure on a real season and not had as many contract renewals/signings to drastically inflate it.

I suppose we would be able to pretty much guarantee that he'd play when healthy.

Some ITK on the Mix suggesting we've been offered Pulisic loan to buy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

He's probably available, they've got a daft amount of wingers and then added sterling. I don't think it's that outrageous.
