Summer 2022 Transfer Window

I dont think we do have to sell to buy wether its first or not.

We have lost a huge number of players this year Fosun will have known they need to replace them.

Our issue is more how long it takes to get it done, that's on Thelwell and Shi. Lage wanted players in early the fact that did not happen.is down to the board pure and simple.

We have gone into the first game without a fucking squad that's incompetence from Shi and Thelwell.

We have Raul injured and you let Fabio go on loan WITH NO FUCKING REPLACEMENT, Guao has to be asking questions as how the fuck tweedle dumb and tweedle dee have allowed that to happen, we are about to go into the second game with NO centre forward. That's fucking incompetence.

You better sort it out quick because I have a suspicion if we are hovering around relegation Fosun won't be happy with either of them.
 
I think you mean Sellars, Thelwell is now at Everton.

Didn't we sign a player who can play centre forward literally yesterday?
 
It feels like Guedes is the one we wanted, it is risky but some credit to the board for sticking with it. I am sure there are other players we could have got earlier than Guedes but unless/until he went somewhere else he remained a priority.

We are one decent midfielder away from a competent transfer window and I am sure we will see the usual batch of young players with potential join.

And if Neves stays....
 
Nico to Valencia is gaining some traction, wonder if us pulling out of signing him was a part of the Guedes negotiations? We need a mobile, footballing midfielder so badly

If we keep MGW I think we're wedded to 4-2-3-1 for the season.

But I agree I think we need that ball carrying midfielder.

I still hope we get in a striker and central midfielder.
 
I read that Barca don't want a sale clause in any loan for Nico, which could have been a sticking point for us.

If we get a centre mid of good quality, I’d go as far to say it’s a good transfer window, rather than competent.

Ofcourse, question marks over the length of time we take to get deals done, but you can’t have it all.

If MGW and Neves both sign new deals, it would turn it into a very good window IMO

The worst part? David Instone won't even ask questions of the club. The E&S needs to be holding them to account.
 
To be fair we've all wanted quality signings to add to the first team. The 2 so far have certainly been that. Hopefully they have a quality ACM and striker lined up before the transfer window shuts. I'll be happy with that!

Good.

Absolutely zero point developing another teams player, only to give him back and go back to square one.

Connor Gallagher was great for Palace. Didn’t ultimately get them anywhere though, other than having to trawl through sone crap leagues to try and find a replacement.

Chelsea, meanwhile, get their player back with a years Premier League experience under his belt and loads of confidence.

Totally glad we don’t entertain that bullshit.
