Summer 2022 Transfer Window

I'm going to rather grumpily presume that Hwang II and Traore II are going to be the only incomings left, and we'll end up giving in to the financial muscle of Nottingham Forest and lose MGW on the last day of the window. We'll be 13th come January and so not bother signing anybody then as we're in no real danger of going down and it's hard to get deals done in January blah blah grumble grumble and bumble our way through the rest of the season listen to Lage and Sellars say this year doesn't really count as the world cup got in the way

Go and have some coffee Del. By the time you come back we’ll have signed Andre Silva, have Cherki on Jinky’s plane sitting next to Ben Yedder and some young International midfielder on their way.

Traore is young, good price and the type of midfielder we need. If we end up with him and one of Batshuayi, Ramos or Hwang II I'll consider that a very good window. Provided MGW and Neves stay of course.

Yeah don't get me wrong I'm actually quite excited by Traore, I love the mystery and potential opportunity in signing young players, especially when they've played a season or two of competitive football, and he's not a cheap-cheap punt, if you know what I mean. But if we got Ramos and Nico we wouldn't be signing them, so you've got to temper that excitement within the knowledge they're 2nd/3rd choice targets, in positions that we really need to be upgrading on Raul/Donk, rather than backing them up
 
We've signed a defender called Testimony Igbinoghene from Manchester City (he's 16 and joins as a scholar).

Hopefully this isn't the addition GFFH was referring to...

Perhaps the goal this season isn't to just get players in, it's get players with the same name as current ones so we can field 2 squads with exactly the same last names in both! 🤣
 
Alan will be telling us next that he doesn’t like garish football kits anymore, then it’ll be the end of days for all of us

I asked a lad I work with who's a Monaco fan and he said that he's raw, very mobile and aggressive but not the best passer. Didn't think he'd be up to premier league level. He also told me Moutinho was finished when we signed him so I take his opinion with a pinch of salt.
 
But know absolutely nothing about him tbh. Im just liking the rumours of players
