Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Looks like close to agreeing a fee for Ludovic Ajorque, more than decent goal scoring record in France, and apparently they're only looking at €15m
 
If (and that's a big if) we manage to get Traore and Ajorque over the line, and there aren't any more outgoings, that starts to look like a pretty successful window for me. Maybe one more midfielder might be nice, but we'd have addressed most of our glaring deficiencies.

That would mean Alan Nixon has called 2 of our deals correctly. FFS, I hope it fails just to avoid that end result

I've literally never seen him, but just looking at his numbers for the last couple of years it doesn't seem particularly outrageous on the face of things, good record with a shit team in a league that's not exactly full of goals
 
Yeah, I mean Adam Armstrong cost £20m a year ago and he's a tiny little man who never scores. We'll struggle to find someone decent for less than that price.
 
I like the look of him - big, vicious, Bond villain/Zlatan looking fella
 
Sounds like a good old fashioned target man who can play and score. Wouldn't mind him as the final attacking signing.

I'd imagine we'll still be open to either Traore or MGW being sold though.

Alex Mostovoi! Lovely footballer. Him, Karpin and Revivo for Celta were a great watch.

If we go 4-3-3 (I would, if we get the right CM signed) then one of them can go. Guedes (when Raul is back), Neto, Podence and Chiquinho (when he's back) can all play on the right. Even Hwang at a stretch though I would never choose to do that.

No-one is interested in Adama though.
 
Adama will be useful if we have someone as tall as Ajorque to get his head to one of his wayward crosses
