The Championship

How the fuck do you go up winning three of your last eleven? Plenty of defeats in the other eight as well.

Welcome back you stripey wankers. Hope your point haul embarrasses Derby

Albion and Leeds will be more interesting games than Watford and Norwich, that's my straw grabbing done

I agree. Your previous comment about the table looking a bit more old skool is prescient

Brentford couldn't have had more of an opportunity

A victory against either Stoke or Barnsley would have seen them promoted - they bottled it in my view

Utter madness what happened with Forest/Swansea

Swansea to go up now similar to when Blackpool just pipped it and then won it 10 years ago!

There’s no way that the Barnsley winner counts in the PL with VAR.

Now I don’t agree that goals like that should be chalked off, but it just shows the sheer volume of goals that our ruled out for forensic analysis and the massive impact that has and how the tables could be so very different without it.

I thought something similar watching the Bournemouth game on Sunday, Wilson was offside so no issue with the decision, just that at this stage of the season its intervention gets magnified.

Swansea to beat Cardiff in the Play off final. Is it still going to be at Wembley, good for the lolz if it is.

Fuck those jammy stripey cunts coming up too, lets hope they go back down with sub-Derby points.

I've still not seen the angle from the side but I couldn't believe he hadn't been flagged offside.

Still can't believe brentford allowed them to go up, they are such a poor side. Keep thinking about when Watkins slipped when he was about to shoot at 1-1.

The barnsley one his feet are probably level, but with the body lean his upper body and head are probably a good few feet off. With VAR barnsley get relegated andBrentford maybe get a late winner keeping baggies down and then up.

Back four and keeper are very poor. Livermore nowhere near good enough. All of their forward options are useless. They have a lot of work to improve their squad and I don't see them spending a great deal.

I've managed to pretty much ignore Championship football until yesterday - I'd forgotten how poor it is, quite exciting though. Was chatting to a stripey friend this morning and he thinks they will do a Sheff Utd next season; he didn't like it when I pointed out that that would still mean finishing below us and they seem to have quite possibly the worst defence in promotion history.

Ha, I suppose Wilder and Sheffield United (and us the year before!) have convinced everyone you can come up and perform like that. I think Leeds are the most likely to do that (and they have some improvement to go anyway).

Teams who come up and ensure they get the defence right are the ones who tend to cope better. West Brom have been so reliant on their wide players this season, getting them out of jail.

Doing a Wolves/Sheff Utd relies on a tactically astute manager and a team that doesn't rely on individuals.

Bilic and West Brom fail on both counts.

Leeds will do well because of Bielsa.

Johnstone, Pereira and Sawyers have the ability to be bottom half Prem players. Ajayi an outside chance, Gibbs if he can be bothered. That's it.

That said I hope we get them away early in the season, the local derby factor makes it a more difficult game than it would be if say Watford had that squad and I don't think we've won there since Iwan Roberts, so taking the crowd element out would be advantageous

Yeah away first game would be lovely as the transfer window won't even be closed then.

It's fairly likely that Albion will go straight back down but I'm sure they will shithouse their way to a win over us on the way.

I'd love to properly avenge the 5-1 defeat though.

The BCD just attract dickheads and brings out the worst in everyone (me included) I much prefer when we are in different leagues so we can just ignore each other.

I really don't care about them but the baiting and stupidity that surrounds our rivalry winds me up when it shouldn't
