The CHRISTMAS Thread

Have a good & safe Christmas everyone

Just about to leave to help out at the local Christmas (remote & delivered) lunch. A cold but sunny day down here.

Absolutely glorious crisp morning. Just starting the cooking as she who must be obeyed is psyching herself up to walk the hound.

Merry christmas, keep distance and when not possible where masks.

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope you all have as goof a day as possible with the current situation!

Merry Christmas fellow Wolves fans. Lots of love to you all xx

Merry Christmas all!

the wife got me a new pair of mahabi’s, it’s about the first time in a dozen years I’ve been genuinely chuffed with a present! (She normally buys stuff I’ll never use, not just that I’m a miserable old bugger!)

Merry Christmas everyone.

You would think not seeing anybody would be relaxing but I’m exhausted. Normally the presents are spread out over several days as we visit people but we’ve had them all in one day this year. With a shit ton of presents along with FaceTime with all the family, the kids have only just finished opening them all.

Been a good day though. My wife did a cracking dinner and I’m just about to force down some sandwiches!

Having been in advertising 40 years when Xmas started for me as a creative on 1st September I frankly don't want to heat a door bell ding dong after DEC 15th, so a merry bah humbug to all, but just to say in our lockdown a couple of German friends, both piss artists snook up to the house for Xmas lunch.
Shit girls here can get away with murder where the fuzz are concerned, but as wine drinkers, the bastards decided they liked brandy, which was my treat to me for Xmas...they left, it's gone and I am stuck with gluvein, love it, but no fucking snow.
Have a cracker lads and don't worry, nuno may have slipped off the step, but he aye on crutches yet, come august some of you will have to fess up to being huuuuuuuge numpties.
Me, I love that we understand change doesn't ever happen perfectly, but i look at the players we have, and think, yeah, they are tired, maybe confused, but these guys do the bizz, so for me, it's just like getting used to the wife's choice of new wallpaper, I hated it at the start, but two beers in, I can't see the difference.
These boys will come better than good!

Has been a good, if different day.

200 meals & gift boxes delivered out (which I played a small part in helping) - got one of the lunches to bring home & my compliments to Jon who cooked it as it was superb.
