Happy Junemas everyone!

My Mum is coming to Hereford for her very delayed Christmas Dinner once the stay overnight regulations are relaxed. Mrs HW is unsure what to cook - a full turkey roast or something a little lighter to suit the season!

I’m up for anything. I love a Christmas Dinner....even in June.

Glad to say just finished my Christmas shopping. Mostly everyone is getting gift cards because I'm a lazy fuck and didn't really feel like doing hours and hours of online and/or in store shopping. Also, most of my friends and family never really seem all that enthused with what I get them anyway, so now they can get whatever they want.

Did put some thought into my girlfriend's gift however: Booked us on a Caribbean cruise for the Spring so gonna present/tell her about that and got her a spa package as well.

Our Christmas shopping method for many years is to have a day somewhere nice like Chester, Lichfield etc, wander round looking at the displays and lights, listen to street performers. Then go and have lunch somewhere nice. After that we go home and buy everything online.
We usually have an idea what people want cos we all exchange gift ideas about November. Alternatively we go down the vouchers route....its all pretty stress free tbh

Gloucester has a great Victorian Christmas Market and open air ice rink, street entertainers, etc down by the docks. Definitely recommend it mate

Been down to the docks before but not at Christmas....Will have a look next year
