The F1 Thread

Listening to Lando there, can see what it means for him. Of course what no one has yet said is that making that call to switch was much easier for the person in second place, this time Lewis. Where McLaren could've reacted was almost the lap straight after even though it would've put him 2 secs behind Lewis - Lando in the wet might have still had a chance as Lewis had too much to lose. It'll come for him, hope he gets a win before the year is out.

Yes aware a Wolves game is on, race far more interesting from what I've seen!

What an absolute get out of jail for Verstappen.

Not for the first time this season either.

I’m so, so gutted for Lando. And doubly irritating that it magically got Verstappen to p2 as well. Bottas got away with it too, proved today why he should be nowhere near that seat

ugh so brutal to watch lando slipping around on lap 51 like that. terrible to watch. he did so well keeping lewis at bay the previous 20 laps, even after sneaking up for brief periods in DRS kept managing to push him back just out of that 1 second zone. deserved a better finish.

I understand he made the call but everyone else was aware of the rain, you'd think the team coulda done a bit better for him

Ten place grid penalty for Hamilton as he changes the internal combustion section but not the whole engine unit.

BTW - really like the white livery Red Bull are running this weekend. Looks class.

Wet in P3. Lots of standing water. Mifht be wet for quali.

I really like Turkey as a track layout. Always flows really well.

Nice wide track and steady corner helped avoid any drama. Don’t know the track at all tbh, wasn’t on the games back in the day!

So weird that the track isn’t drying and old inters are the best tyres

Hamilton knew Perez would have taken him out so had to be really passive

I wouldn’t call pushing him into the pit Lane particularly passive. Looks like Leclerc and Hamilton are going to the end.

Gave him too much space originally for me and then later on after that.

Now he’s refused the stop he’s probably got to stay out
