The F1 Thread

Scrap that, unless we get some more Red Bull reliability issues

Max bins it himself and they go out of their way to screw Checo over. Scumbags.

I think Max would've got him, but could've let that happen fairly on the track. The difference means Perez is now 25 points behind and could've been somewhere between 11-13 points behind instead (depending on where fastest lap went)

Yeah they’re not even pretending to make it an even fight. Perez is just Barrichello to Verstappen’s Schumacher.

At least Mercedes kept it fair until Bottas was out of contention for a championship

If I was Perez I'd be telling Red Bull to sit on their contract extension for a while. Problem is you can only play that card if you've got a decent seat to go to elsewhere. Maybe Ferrari might have him and bin Sainz.

Ferrari won't be too happy to have extended Carlos to the end of 2024.

That is beginning to look a bad decision. Sainz is having a horror show this season.

Haven’t caught much F2 this season, watching the quali at Monaco and Alex Brundle sounds so much like his dad!

F2 and F3 have both been pretty good from what I have seen. Time for the dullest race of the season though. Monaco is so crap.

Quali is usually fun, I’ll watch that and then assume that’s the order of the race and save myself a couple of hours on Sunday!

Ferrari have had an absolute mare here.

That's probably the worst strategy call I've ever seen.

Jeez I held my breath just then seeing that Haas. Nasty

I was very surprised nobody gambled the inters earlier in the top 4. Gasly was tearing through the field about 5/6 laps before Perez first came in

I think the problem there was that you'd get stuck behind Alonso/Hamilton and any safety car/red flag and you'd be miles away.
