That said, at 1-0 up, Burnley should hardly be touching ball in the last ten minutes given the quality difference of the two sides. Us sitting so deep and trying to defend long diagonals was really naive

Dangerous play, if he had got his foot to the ball fair enough but he was closer to Matt’s face than the ball. That was the first offence....but that is a subjective decision so in my opinion it was right for VAR not to change the decision.
