The Film Thread

It's Ok. Wouldn't go as far as marvellous. And I'm a Cohen Bros fan too.

Finally got around to watching Parasite at the weekend. We thought it was terrific. Horrifying, funny and macabre, and also a pretty interesting statement on the wealth divide that continues to grow and fracture society. Well worth the watch.

I've just watched Greenland on Amazon. I'll save everyone the hassle - don't, its terrible. Possibly the worst film I've seen.

Was planning to watch that tonight, might need to reevaluate

I assume you've never read Tredmans matchday comments ?
Not posted in a match day thread for a very long time, apart from a dig at the ref at 1/2 time yesterday. In general I’m making a big effort to ignore negativity.

Now, where’s the block option on here ;)

No, I tend to avoid the match day thread once the game kicks off.

I have read the love letter you and Pablo wrote each other, and I'd rather read those than rewatch Greenland!
You should see the videos he sends me.

We saw it last week and thought it was entertaining enough. A standard disaster movie - certainly not groundbreaking or original but it was fine. A 3 out of 5.

I'm being made to watch Instant Family with *adopts Boston accent* Markey Mark Wahlberg. I don't hate it.

The ladies of this residence seem to have a crush on Mr W, as I seem to be watching a great deal many of his films in the past fortnight.

I enjoyed the film in the end and was surprised when Joan Cusak popped up near the end.
