They could leave the PL and join the EFL.Let them go, let them have their franchises and money.
If the results in anything other than them going, or complete and utter capitalisation by them then football will be irretrievably damaged.
What I will say though is last year I started going down to watch my local tier 7 team Basford and I fucking love it down there and will more than likely just continue watching at that kind of level. The Gary Neville video sums it up for me perfectly, watched all 9 minutes of it last night.
I was already falling out of love for football after this sterile year and the bullshit of VAR, just another nail in the coffin really.
UEFA also threatening to remove the 12 from the list of winners. Petty and meaningless but the PL should do the same and remove the 6 from their finishing positions since the PL was formed, apparently these would be the new "winners"
92/93: Aston Villa 93/94: Blackburn 94/95: Blackburn 95/96: Newcastle 96/97: Newcastle 97/98: Leeds 98/99: Leeds 99/00: Leeds 00/01: Leeds 01/02: Newcastle 02/03: Newcastle 03/04: Newcastle 04/05: Everton 05/06: Blackburn 06/07: Everton, 07/08: Everton 08/09: Everton 09/10: Aston Villa 10/11: Everton 11/12: Newcastle 12/13: Everton 13/14: Everton 14/15: Southampton 15/16: Leicester 16/17: Everton 17/18: Burnley 18/19: Wolves 19/20: Leicester
To be honest I am all for that as long as we got a bus parade. Bring on the petty behavior PL, bring it on
Someone should make an emotional appeal to the ESL about our '50s floodlit friendlies and see if we can nab Tottenham's space...
