Looks like the Derby takeover is falling to pieces. Who’d have thought it.
Players not been paid for December either, too. Rumours they are close to going into administration. What a mess

These are the same shysters who went for Newcastle I think? Smoke and mirrors - trading off Arabic names but with very little cash I think

Article in the athletic on Everton’s financial performance - I genuinely have no idea how they’re avoiding being smashed for breaching FFP unless owners can now invest as much as they like and that’s ok?

“Mr Moshiri’s total support of the club comes to £350 million as of June 2020 with a further £50 million cash injection received to date which will be reported in the club’s 2021 accounts,” said Ryazantsev.

“As announced before Christmas, the club has agreed to issue up to £250 million of new shares to Mr Moshiri’s Blue Heaven Holdings Ltd to be paid for by a combination of new cash and conversion of some of the previously issued shareholder loans.

“This will present a welcome injection of capital into the club as we continue to address the significant financial challenges presented by COVID-19. His investment has facilitated the club’s investment in players, improved facilities, repayment of external debt and funding development of the new stadium project.”

On the recruitment front, he added: “In the last five years, the club has spent a net £306 million on players. It should be noted that the balance sheet value of the club’s playing squad of £227 million as of June 30, 2020 was significantly lower than the insured value of the squad at the same time.”

Looks like Albion could be in a bit of trouble over the Snodgrass deal, apparently a clause between both was put that he couldn’t face West Ham tonight apparently breaches PL transfer dealings

Admitting on live TV probably not the best idea then

Allardyce will say he 'misspoke' I imagine

Probably just be a fine no more or him being on the pitch Saturday was ineligible not saying it should be replayed or anything

Shame the club confirmed the reason for his exclusion via Twitter as well

School boy error, as said they’ll get no more than a fine. Snodgrass technically shouldn’t have played on Saturday as he was there under a breached contract

It will be a 20k fine and pay attention to the rules in future warning.

Dean Smith charged by the FA for calling the ref "a fucking joke" He will be fined no doubt, but hopefully he will stick by his comments. And so he should. Maybe Villa will now keep getting the shit end of the stick from the joke refs...
Something has got to change. Not only are they shit at their job, you can't tell them they are shit without incurring a fine and a dressing down by the out of touch FA twats.

Much as I disagree with offside goal in that game, thems the rules (laws) and much as its a ridiculous law, it is what it is. What is most concerning to me is that an experienced manager in the Premier league doesn't actually know the laws of the game he is a professional in

More about the super league here too:

Not overly bothered tbf, would make football more interesting in England and hopefully would hoover up all the ‘I’m a Utd fan as my great uncles mate was from Salford’ wankers interest.

I know it's the law, but it's just ridiculous. I'm sure 99% of players and managers didn't know the exact way that law worked.

Would make it more competitive domestically but the overall standard would drop as all the best players would be hoovered to play in the super league.
