Probably not unfortunately.

I wonder how many players would refuse, on the basis that it costs them the chance to play for their country?

By all accounts the big 6 think the PL is on the verge of a catastrophe and are unimpressed with current strategic plans.
Read between the lines is easy here, the likes of Leicester and West Ham this year are threatening to get top 6 we had a serious flirt with it last year and Everton could easily get in at some point soon.
Not hard to see this has got them flustered and worried about having more competition which could drain some cash flow.

There's a lot of delusion on here with regards to the impact on Wolves if it were to happen (it won't). Fosun didn't sign up to be in a regurgitated version of the Championship.
You seem to think I care aboutn Fosun?

For one, they aren’t bankrolling us. We are making profit. I guess they could call in their loans (£131m) but we still wouldn’t go bust, we’d come out better than a lot of clubs. By doing that though they practically kill their asset so would be counter productive.

With the loss of the big 6, the drop in Tv revenue, there would be little disparity between the levels of the pyramid anyway. Becomes more of a level playing field, so with little financial difference any drop in level is less noticeable.

Chances are If our foreign owners are pulling the plug, loads of others would too, and as I said we’d come out of that better than most. Even if we didn’t, the club would still be here and I’d still support it. All things are relative, so if the clubs prospects were poorer then our expectations would be lower to match that.

What they’d look to do also if they stayed in both this super league and PL is move PL fixtures to midweek and super league at weekends.

What I’ve read to win it you’ll need to play 25 games. Going out in group stages you’ll still play 18.

There will be 5 spaces for clubs to qualify outside the 15 founder members. Enjoy trying to get one of those spots.

Absolute nightmare situation for the premier league and the FA. Premier league know they need the so called big 6. The big 6 could easily pull out of domestic cup competitions to.

We’ve been turned into football peasants or surfs over night being totally subservient to the powerful minority. Oh and we should apparently be happy to just fight for the scraps with everyone else.

Sheer arrogance.

We don't dance to your tune, boys. Sit down and behave yourselves.

Yep we’ve had our landscape and prospects turned upside down by a club we came above last season and another we came level on points with. If it goes ahead.

This could be up and running by August they aren’t hanging around.

They can't do that, they're bound to contracts until 2024.

Well I mean you *can* break any contract but there are consequences.

UEFA surely will boot them out of any European competition for this as it’s in direct contradiction of contracts signed. It basically puts everything on UEFA to do something that dances to the tune of these clubs calling there bluff maybe.
