There but for the grace of god...

Fucking hell, that's quite an upset for St Pauli. Decent BVB team as well.

Changes to loan rules are incoming, effecting over 21s and non-club-trained players. Limited to 8 next season, 7 the season after and then settling at 6 the season after.

Our tie-up with Grasshoppers becomes ever more important in that case, we can "sell" players to them and "buy" them back if they're any good or we can sell them for decent money.

Doubtless we'll try to find a similar club in Spain/Portugal if we can.

Why not make it over 23 rather than 21?

I think I read most players don't make their PL debut until they're 23/24.

Feels like there is potentially a restriction coming in around players development between 21 and 23.

PL2 is classified as being u23, I would have thought aligning any restrictions to PL2 age brackets would have made sense.

I’m all for a limit as it will reduce the ability of teams like Chelsea to hoover up huge numbers of young players and then get other teams to develop them. Young players will be more likely to stay at smaller clubs and those clubs will benefit from incoming transfer fees when the players move upwards. It should mean money is spread more widely which can only be a good thing.

New Burnley owners seemingly want out or need huge investment and all players available (according to the Sun, so you know may be bollocks)

The way they bought the club I think meant it would be a bit of a disaster if they got relegated.

I'd like to see them get relegated, they've definitely outstayed their welcome in the Premier League.

Shit ground, shit fans and a terrible away day 😂
