Fulham are the latest team to sign a sponsorship deal with W88

Short term deal I presume as the PL are close to agreeing a ban on gambling firms on shirts (because the Government won't do it despite spending ages saying they will). 14 clubs are set to back the ban which is enough to get it through.

That will probably be from next season though wont it? Doubt they can get it through this year when some teams will already have contracts signed with those companies.

It will be on a once your deal has expired basis rather than rip up your contracts lads.

W88 seem to be short term deals anyway, only Palace I think where they've exceeded one year?

Mings has lost the Villa captaincy which gives a good clue as to whether he'll start the season

Well after signing Diego Mings he was always going to be replaced as he’s worse than Konsa

Meanwhile over in Wolves we can't even be arsed to fill in the other corner, think planning has lapsed on that now too.

NFTs and crypto are both ethical and economic disasters. Everton can fuck off to the Conference with that.

There's a vid on Youtube called "Line Goes Up: The Problem with NFTs" that I highly recommend to anyone and everyone. It's a heavy watch, and over two hours, but it is the most comprehensive takedown of crypto and NFTs as is possible.

But, in short (this taken from the Youtuber's interview with Vice Media after the video went viral):

Deflationary economies are a poverty trap that are built to recreate serfdom. That’s what cryptocurrency is built for. If you're constantly hearing people tell you that you're going to regret not getting in early, that's your number one sign that getting in late is a trap. You have to ask: What are the power dynamics of a system like that? What does this look like to somebody who didn't have the option to buy in earlier? What does this look like in five, ten, fifteen years?
