They're sullying themselves just fine, based on that.

Barton ought not to be employed in this or any other industry, should these allegations hold true.

The current case with the incident between him and Stendel is still ongoing too. Got delayed I think due to an issue with the German translator they had

Rooney has managed to injure one of the few players he has in training. Knight could be out for up to 3 months...
Might be the least of his worries seeing what else is knocking about on the internet at the moment.

If I were Derby Id be actively looking on how they dismiss the embarrassment.

What's Rooney done now?

Trial in November I think.

They should get a better German translator :D (no your Honour, I'm not biased against Mr Barton, I don't even watch football)

Crying Wolf on being involved in entrapment. The bloke only thinks with his dick, if Coleen was wealthy enough she would have gone before now.

Yeah, not sure what to make of it really. Obviously I support moves to limit damage to the brain, but it could change the game a lot.

Set piece work the day before the game could become very different for example.

Is this as huge a change as it seems to me, I mean 10 headers a week is nothing is it?
It is in training where they will get through more than 100 in a week.

How they measure ‘higher force’ is anybody’s guess as there are no sensors in the ball or that players wear on/ in their heads that can measure accurate g-force (both linear and angular).

You’ve then got the issue of sub concussive blows rather than concussive blows as a cumulative effect, which nobody knows the effect of yet, other than repeated sub concussive blows over 40g but below 90g without time to heal do cause CTE.

It also skates around issues such as David Luiz’s dangerous play and the fact most concussive blows are from head to head or head to foot contact.

Concussive episodes or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) of more than 3 in a 10 month period can cause permanent brain impairment. We also know that more than that many cause CTE (both ALS and Pugilista dementia have been attributed to this).

Whilst not perfect and a bit of a fudge, it’s a start and that’s a good thing.

*I’m off back to the shadows (not the shitty pop group)*

Callum Wilson here praising Graeme Jones and at the same time calling Steve Bruce a footballing dinosaur
