He's not everybody's cup of tea but I think I'd take a look at Barkley.

No ta, had about three good games for Villa then gave up. They hated him. Doesn't have the right mentality at all.

Chelsea's player hoarding is really depressing for all involved. Player after player go out on loan then go nowhere, wasting years of their career.

Kenedy was the name that stuck out to me. He was supposed to be quite good when they signed him (relative to his age, at least) IIRC.

On the flip side there's a bunch of kids getting exposure to a level of coaching a facilities they otherwise might not. They might not end up with many at the level to slot into their first team but who's to say how many end up with better careers for having been through that system than if they hadn't?

Bummer of a night at the Bank, as generally Charlotte outplayed Chicago but gave up 3 goals out of absolutely nothing. Lost 2-3.

Fuchs is absolutely toasted at this level, unfortunately.

So it seems the deal Barca did with regards to their TV rights that would allow them to register new players has kind of backfired and left them with a nice tax bill as well

They're now asserting that De Jong's deal was criminal, so should be annulled.

How can players still want to sign there ffs

I appreciate it's only the prosecution case, but Giggs sounds like an absolute scumbag. Lets face it there were enough clues

A piece of work. Not sure why Ferguson and Neville (apparently) are going in to bat for him.

Not sticking up for him but the girl bringing the case sounds a bit Vardyesque in her phone care. Shes dropped one in a river, had another lost/stolen and admitted to deleting messages on another. All sounds rather convenient.

If that’s the best the defence can offer Giggs has had it. That is attempted victim shaming in the light of Vardy.

Hardly victim shaming is it, important pieces of evidence that could either support or damage your case are 'missing' due to lost phones and deleted messages, it's not a good look.

I would also say the language used by her is somewhat deliberately evocative, referring to herself as a 'slave to his every needs' for instance.

I'm not stating a case for either side, and quite frankly I don't really care, but from what Ive heard something doesn't ring 100% true here. It wouldnt be beyond imagination that she's playing on his very public reputation for being a love rat. Who knows and I certainly don't care
