The Goggle Box Thread

For Gomorrah fans, L'Immortale, S3 spin off on Sky Atlantic.

I think, in the end, I preferred Better Call Saul but it took about 3 seasons before I realised that
Massive fan of both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. A trip to Albuquerque to do the RV Tour is still on the "to do" list once normality returns.

I've just started watching Your Honor which stars Bryan Cranston.

Ooh any good?

Watched all of The Investigation - excellent true-life crime, great acting and very moving too.

Watched It's A Sin this weekend - about the beginning of the AIDS epidemic in London the the Eighties.

Great soundtrack (obviously) but really well written and acted by all involved - would recommend.
Finished the series last night. Just the right balance between light and shade and although not autobiographical you know there are plenty of stories from the 80s which it reflects. I found it moving.

Agree with that.

Episodes 3 & 5 were particularly tough to watch at times but overall was a fantastic series.

Zero zero zero airs on Sky Atlantic starting 4 February.

"Based on the novel by Roberto Saviano, this fast-paced series directed by Stefano Sollima (Gomorrah) and Janus Metz (True Detective) follows the buyers, sellers and brokers who drive the frenzied and lethal world of international drug trafficking".

Right then, WandaVision. I've now seen 3 episodes and can officially classify it as dog shit.

Well then, I've now seen 4 episodes and can officially classify it as really rather good...

Unless something spectacular happens in the 4th episode, you and I have rather different tastes in TV.

Wanda Vision is brilliant I reckon. Watched the available episodes twice and second time round I went from intriguing to brilliant.
Mind you if all tastes were the same the world would be a dull place.

The fourth episode is somewhat different to the previous three. That said, I still thought it was really rather good even having just watched those first three.

I watched episodes 3&4 this morning. Not a bad miniseries tbh.
