The Goggle Box Thread

Friday nights were Robot Wars and Red Dwarf, 1999 ish, can't remember what else but there were a few I think. Having a nostalgia trip now as you can tell

And My Hero. I'll leave it at that :D

First two seasons of Red Dwarf were excellent. Got a lot more popular after that, and did have some crackers, before the eventual decline.

Once More With Feeling is the classic
I'm a big fan of that episode.

Have you ever seen Joss Whedon's musical thing he did during the writers strike called Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog?

It stars Nathan Fillion, Neil Patrick Harris and Felicia Day and is only about 45 mins long. It's about an aspiring super villain (Dr Horrible) and his nemesis Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion). It's great fun and the songs are really good. You can find it on Youtube.

Just watched an interview of Billie Jean King on the beeb. Fascinating person, great tennis player, highly motivated activist. She has a lot to say on many subjects that's involved her, feminism, racism, equality, abortion, coming out, been fighting them all her life but also comes across as very none judgemental. I was very impressed by her and the interview.

Umbrella Academy back with season three. Binged four episodes with Sidders tonight, top stuff as usual.

Just like to say my re-watch is now a good chunk through series 5 of X-Files. The run of three episodes Modern Prometheus, Christmas Carol, Emily is absolutely brilliant still.

Missed that it was back, will try and watch a couple today.

I’ll do Sherwood after Umbrella Academy and We Own The City

Umbrella academy is brilliant. Totally insane but great tv.

Looking forwards to watching Herogasm today on The Boys. Supposed to be mental.

Got loads to watch tonight. Latest Kenobi, The Boys, Umbrella Academy, Own The City, Dr Strange. Gonna be a busy TV weekend I think.

The Boys. Just gets better and better, this week’s episode is the best one yet, absolutely brilliant episode.

Same with Kenobi. Didn’t really enjoy the series as a whole (I presume it’s wrapped up) but the last episode was really decent.

The last kenobi was fantastic.
You must have to be a Star Wars need to think it was great. I've thought it was the same as all the others this season.... Meh, was ok.

Less than a week until vol 2 of Strannger Things 4. So looking forward to it, but dreading which characters they are gonna kill off!

And when was the last time a TV show made a 35+ year old song a worldwide number 1? I read somewhere that because Kate Bush wrote, performed and produced Running Up That Hill herself she's currently making around about £250,000 a week off it! Not sure if that's true, but she must bloody love Stranger Things now!
