The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Pretty sure they have them over there.

Yeah, was very weird eating massive 'shrimp' when I was there the other week.

Kinda regional. My dad picked up "prawn" when he lived in New Orleans. I use it because it encompasses both crawdads and shrimp, which were some of my favorite seafood.

We need more Leeds, we need more, let’s have the detail.

Your meals are best read MasterChef style, full India Fisher.
Just nice and simple really. Cooked in butter with a touch of oil and plenty of garlic. Then add a side salad and rice. Washed down with ice cold Super Bock.

So modest brother Leeds.

Can I book the 7 course taster menu with paired wine flight, 2 people, 8.00pm?

A window table would be preferred although not essential.

Thanks.

I can only pair with beers, not wine though.

I had an excellent seafood chowder for lunch today. Washed down with with Estrella Damm.

Fish pie which went in the bin. Supermarket job. Absolutely rank and dry as hell.

Love cooking fresh prawns.
Tossed in a tiny frying pan with a knob of butter, a little garlic, a pinch of GINGER and salt.
As soon as they're pink, just lean casually against the cooker and eat them out of the pan. Don't bother sitting down.
4 for you darling and 6 for me....

Not had these since I was a student, but quite liked them back then. Bit weird together tbf

Tinned meatballs are passable, but the burgers are rank, they just stay too soggy...

Used to love a boiled burger from the school canteen, even if it was to get the best burger burps in the afternoon.
