Seems Wilder is going because he refused to concede on being the decision maker on transfers. The board pointed to Ramsdale and Brewster as to why he shouldn't be

It does yes, he has spent record amounts on Ramsdale, Berge, Mcburnie and Brewster. Only one of them will recoup what they paid.

Also had some other bigish fees comparable to previous spending, in there for players that havent impacted the team at all.

Not easy to recruit at their level of spending. Finished articles are higher in price or pick bigger clubs, go for highly rated prospects and it doesn’t necessarily work out.

McBurnie and Brewster were both relative gambles based on Championship form (appreciate Brewster came from Liverpool), neither having played in the PL before. For that amount you'd expect one of them to come good, but without goals coming from anywhere else it puts a lot of pressure on those players to be the man rather than a complimentary piece. Assuming they are both there next season it wouldn't surprise me at all if they score 35+ between them back at that level

Ramsdale and Mousset I can't defend.

Moussett was pretty decent for them last season wasn't he? (Could easily be confusing him with another player though)

Yeah he was okay in their system in the same way DJ Campbell was good for Blackpool.

I have said it on here before but the Ramsdale signing was unbelievable, he was a key part in Bournemouth being relegated.

So apparently Sheffield United are going to appoint Jason Tindall?!

If that's true, surely it's until the end of the season amd Saint Eddie will join him in the Summer?

I can't stand Tindall, catalogue model wanker. Always being a twat on the sidelines when he was with Howe.

That's truly, truly odd. He's done nothing to justify a premier league (for now) job.

Baffling

Tindall and Woodgate the new generation of charlatans who keep getting jobs despite having fuck all to suggest they're capable of anything.

There's only so many goes Steve Cotterill, Little Lee and the like can have.

Whenever I read something like this, I remember how lucky we were in getting Fosun versus the other 3 WM clubs with their Hong Kong/Chinese owners
