The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2020/21

So it seems the final straw at Spurs was down to Jose wanting to play a weakened team v Southampton to help go full strength in the Cup Final.
Levy putting league position over winning a Cup and getting a Euro spot (guess when he made the call, Europa League was off the agenda though).

I've heard stuff about bonuses relating to a trophy win combined with compensation related to league position have played a big part in the timing of his sacking.

He got a hell of a compensation payout though, 16 million.

Nathan Jones is doing a fine job at Luton on a very small budget . On 60 points now with a game in hand to all teams around them . Could end up 9th .
Not long ago they were in the bottom end of League 2 .

Got it now but the 5 4 3 2 1 confused me......sent me down a Manfred Mann route

So Nagelsmann is off to Bayern then. Not exactly a shocker but the compo Leipzig are extracting from Bayern is massive.

Jesse Marsch taking over Leipzig. I'll want reports on how they play under him, if you can stomach it, @Deutsch Wolf!

Sarri apparently headed to Roma which I'm torn about.

Fuck sake, it's like they're actively trying to slip further down the Serie A hierarchy.

Although, honestly, that's been true since they sacked Luis Enrique. Crackpot club.

5,4,3,2,1...
Hadn't a clue what you were referring to when you posted that originally , hadn't the time till now to go to Uncle Google . I understand now , catchy enough song I'll give them that !

Now that is out of the way...........what do people here think of the potential of Nathan Jones as a Manager . He's certainly making a lot of progress with Luton .
You'd wonder how far he can take them .
One thing is for certain - he'll think long and hard before leaving again .

TBF the only reason he left the first time was because he had to get away to ease his mind. All he needed was just a little time.

He went to Stoke and froze, it was too big for him. He's comfortable where he's at, not for me.
