The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2022/23

Sheff Utd are basically us in 2012, mentally as a unit they've gone. Squad needs ripping up, if they've spent a year losing every week then there's no coming back from it.

Although I doubt they'll appoint Dean Saunders.

Heckinbottom (Sp?) according to twitter.

Four and a half year deal!

Like he'd have turned it down if they'd have said "do it to the end of this season and we'll see where we are". Idiots.

Tim reporting that United are to appoint Ralf Rangnick as interim manager

Got to be some clause in there. Nonsensical otherwise

Looks like he'll be interim manager and then moved up into some kind of DoF/consultancy role.

This could be very smart by United as long as the next six months when he is the coach are no disaster. He can do succession planning and get someone suited to the project for when he basically is a DoF. He brought Nagelsmann through, but no way United are getting him, that sort of idea though.

I would imagine Carrick and co will be binned the moment the season ends with Rangnick about. Absolute clean slate for the new guy. His press style is going to suit Cristiano about as well as a Las Vegas civil law suit as well.

Agreement reached between United and Lokomotiv so Rangnick is happening.

Paddy power paying out on him getting the sack bets

I’d say it is mission accomplished for him so he might as well pick up a pay out as well.

He's always been extremely overrated imo anyway.

Should have offered him to Newcastle and saved a pay off!

Moshiri 100% backs Rafa and states results will improve when their injured players are back.
