Tremendous band. And very popular. Here is my view when I tried to get near the John Peel Tent where they were playing at Glastonbury:

Needless to say, it wasn't the best performance I saw all weekend, because I couldn't bloody hear them!!
 
We just about managed to get inside the tent only to find quite a bit of space just in front of the sound deck. I think people some people take their camp chairs and just plonk themselves in there all day.

It was fine inside the tent - it's just that once you're outside, you can't hear it so people push right up to the edge to see/hear. Not happening!!

But yes - some stupid fucktard had a camping chair literally next to where one of those big yellow ropes was tethered, and refused to either stand up or fold it up. Wanker. Someone farted in his face and he soon moved. (Not me, I hasten to add - I was nowhere near there hence the photo, this is a story my mate told me afterwards).
 
If I mentioned Yes, Sabbath, Magnum and Rush, you would all fall about laughing, but that is the music I still like.

Not to mention Iron Maiden.

Don't like either. I'm in a minority when it comes to the Shite Wipes, but I really can't stand them.

Listened to Willy Mason earlier - not heard any of his stuff for ages - is he still around?!

Heard the latest offering from The Ting Tings down the pub on Sat night and from what I can remember it was just the same lyrics constantly repeated for 3 minutes.

Anyway - I've managed to get tickets for Elbow at the NIA in March - I cannot WAIT to see them again. It's going to be an awesome night. I'd love Kloot to support them too!
