The Music Thread Strikes Back

I have been listening to Ten regularly for about 27 years now and I never, ever get bored of it. I get just as excited listening to tracks like Even Flow & Alive now as I did the first time I heard them (and I must have heard them hundreds of times).
I prefer VS myself but Ten is an incredible debut.
You'd struggle to find a better debut

Been watching youtube videos all (wet) morning following the mention of the Pearl Jam unplugged.
Ended up watching loads inc. Audioslave, Pink Floyds Comfortably Numb and Shine On......forgotten just how much I love Gilmours guitar work.
Led Zep Stairway came next, probably a bit of a cliche these days but its such a good song, lastly was Foo Fighters doing Rock and Roll featuring Page and Jones with Grohl on drums and the drummer on vocals.....great fun

Stairway is still the greatest song ever written.

This is stopping me feeling too miserable this morning.

one of the best albums ever made imo.
Interesting that an album full of songs about people making one another miserable, stops you feeling miserable.......someone else always worse off eh?

This just came on the radio and it occurred to me that it is almost the perfect pop song

Sleeping Satellite by Tasmin Archer is a favourite of mine in that category too.

been hugely enjoying Alexis Ffrench recently. The deluxe version of his dreamland album on spotify is particularly lovel.

tim's twitter party is still going. featuring the classic nma album tonight

A version of Under Pressure featuring Willie Nelson just appeared on my Spotify Discover Weekly.

It's fucking ace.

18 years ago since this came out. Took a while to grown on me but when I listen back to it now, it's got so many strong songs.
It's the sound of a band evolving into a new era with their new drummer at the time. Would be in my top 3 PJ albums now.
