The Music Thread Strikes Back

Meh, I wasn't a fan of the Streets when they came out, I gave them a listen the other week and to be fair nostalgia has been kind to them and that song in particular talks about a time in my life.

He must have some sort of record for mentioning concrete in an album though so that is something

It's surprising sometimes, considering I'm a 70s rocker, I've only recently discovered Fanny......the female American band I mean, not a lady's front bottom, still searching for that😄
We have very similar musical taste and I've often seen Youtube recommended clips for the above named band crop up, will give them a go if they appear again

These lot are quality. Could have shared any number of their own songs but most of you will probably know this cover. Front man has quite the set of pipes on him.

Bonehead out of Oasis (and Liam's backing band these days) has got tonsil cancer :(

Seems it's treatable though so fingers crossed.

Went to see Tool last night. Still reeling from a phenomenal performance. Easily their strongest tour in terms of light show, setlist and their musical abilities.
Danny Carey is obviously one of the best and most innovative drummers ever and he was on top form. Maynards voice was also excellent and the light show and lasers were something else.
I dont do drugs anymore but I genuinely had moments where I felt like I was on mushrooms as they had fine glitter descending from the roof in one song and shimmering wave effect lights that after a minute of staring at them, felt like you were tripping.
That was my first gig in over two years and what a gig to return with.
