The Nerdy Dr Who Geekfest Thread

Brilliant episode tonight. Loved it.

Was in the pub the other night with a really friendly Dalek, said he was from Devon, I asked whereabouts, he said Exeter mate, Exeter mate

The BBC have released all surviving episodes of the classic series (aside from the very first story due to contractual issues) onto iPlayer.

Tremendous.

And yes, I've started the binge watch of all binge watches and am currently watching The Dead Planet from 1963.

Does Mrs Langers want me to come over and paint something so she can watch that dry rather than endure a Doctor Who marathon ?

Fortunately we have more than 1 room in our house

Tom Baker remains my favourite, and by some way too.

Matt Smith has been the best 'modern' Doctor - though it's good to have Tennant back, and hopefully with Russell T Davies back in charge of the show, it can be revitalised as the Chris Chibnall era was incredibly disappointing.

Also cannot wait to see Ncuti Gatwa in the lead role - I think he's going to be amazing

My current order - from favourite to least favourite

Baker T
Smith
Ecclestone
Pertwee
Troughton
Tennant
Capaldi
Davison
McCoy
McGann
Whittaker
Hartnell
Baker C

Feel sorry for Jodie Whittaker in the same way I feel sorry for Colin Baker - decent actors let down by duff scripts and poor showrunners. Would have loved to have seen more of Paul McGann onscreen - another massive shame.
