I'm trying to forget the whole situation, but that story is not going away and will probably get much bigger since the Texans are also being sued now.

FWIW there is a massage parlour 2 doors away from my store and rumours have existed for a while about what goes on there. One of my customers has always insisted everything is legit, but told me yesterday that a new masseuse just gave him an unsolicited 'happy ending'.

there is a clear difference between the places that offer that or are likely to offer that, and the sort of person Watson seems to have targetted though, they are not only all women, but attractive younger women when you see any photos of them, not even all work in the field of physio neither.

The Texans had mostly been clear in this but are now being dragged in as being complicit by at least ignoring it or having suspicious (at best) or being involved in paying for and arranging a private settlement at worst.

The recent NYT article by the reporter who was previously at SI is grim reading.

We are now at the inevitable pay them off stage with Watson. 20 will receive money, 4 will be dismissed. Vile creature, who'll now be banned, but I doubt it'll be for long enough.

Edit not dismissed still ongoing including the original plaintiff

Banned for the season I read today.

Lucky he's not going to jail.

Given the cynical nature of the NFL I bet he gets 8 games. They don't have any Prime Time games scheduled after that

No decision yet on possible suspension. To be decided by an independent disciplinary officer - who was jointly chosen by NFL and NFLPA. NFL hopes for one year suspension and for final decision by the end of July.

Not sure how much testimony she has heard from actual 'victims', and no criminal proceedings launched, so feasibly the suspension could be less.

His £40m pa is fully guaranteed against suspension because of the way the contract is structured. That'll make the Browns look really stupid

Imagine not showing up to work for a year and then getting a raise.

Very interested to see how the locals will react to that...

Baker doesn't really solve Carolina's biggest issues, though. Those being a pish offensive line and the fact that McCaffrey can't stay healthy for more than half a season.

Baker being relatively mobile and able to throw on the run does help the former.
