Fell asleep during both games yesterday (big Sunday lunch).
Can't understand how the Bucs won, esp with Brady picked off 3 times in the 4th quarter. Rodgers just had to run himself - even my wife could see that.
Kansas slowly getting back to the Chiefs of last season - where they could score for fun. Too many recent games had been won by a single score.
Can't see beyond a Chiefs Superbowl. Both sides have great defence, but Mahomes is now the better QB and has more options. Interestingly Fanduel has Chiefs as 3 point favourites, but Bet365 has it the other way.

What doesn't make sense is he wants to leave Houston because of the ownership, but his place of choice is the Jets, owned by until recently Trumps UK ambassador

Jets have also been as dysfunctional as the Texans, but Watson would like to play for Saleh.
Saleh must be confident that the owner will not interfere (again) or presumably he would not have taken the job.

Lions trade Matthew Stafford to the Rams in exchange for Jared Goff, two 1st round picks and a 3rd round pick. Seems expensive, but makes Rams stronger. Could be win-win.

I think it's a good short term 'win now' move for the Rams in a weak NFC. They already don't have a first this year because of the Ramsey trade and didn't last either, so that'll be 4 years in a row. Their defense is very good and McCoy's scheme only asks a QB to be competent, not put the offense on his shoulders - Stafford is that whereas Goff isn't. I'd be worried about his injury record if I were them though. Makes them very early favourites for the NFC next year in my book.

The Rams will think they'll be low 1st's though and had to pay a premium to get rid of Goff's contract. Goff hasn't reduced what they had to pay, he's increased it

Yeah, Goffs contract added to what the Rams had to pay.
I think this deal puts pressure on the 49ers. Rams have Stafford, Seahawks Russell Wilson, Cardinals Kyler Murray. 49ers have Garappolo and have been rumoured to be looking for an upgrade to put them back in contention. Would not be surprised if they are in the bidding for Deshaun Watson.
And talking of the Texans, I love this article by Mike Florio:

He persuaded owner Cal McNair to disregard the work of the internal search committee in hiring G.M. Nick Caserio. Then, the Texans made a head-scratching hire of a head coach who had never been a coordinator and who had never been even mentioned as a potential head coaching candidate.

Predictions for tomorrow? Chiefs are favourites, but the big ("smart"?) money is on Tampa who are now just 3 point underdogs.
I know you should never discount Brady, and maybe Tampa will have a home-field advantage, but the Chiefs are the better team and it's not even close. Chiefs to win by 10 or 11, maybe 31-20.

Rumoured that the Bears had to up their offer because the Colts offered to 2nds for Wentz.
And if it does happen, Foles will probably move in the other direction.

Foles only comes if he restructures his contract, not taking that on in Philly, but there's no way Wentz' precious little ego could take him being there. Personally I don't think Hurts is the answer and Foles definitely isn't, but it would be good to get that prick out of the building and a 1st is better than I thought we'd get

People see what they want to see. Wentz was a good franchise QB who might return to previous heights in the right environment. Foles won the Eagles a Superbowl. Both teams might think they have their QB, and both will probably be wrong.
