The OMG what on earth happened there Liverpool 1 Wolves 2 verdict

Wolves players look a lot fitter under PL, they were all pretty much out on their feet last 15 minutes but amazed they were able to keep up that level pressing for so long

What a performance. Buzzing for all the fans that went. Proves there's still some magic left in the cup after all!

Change that Lambert has brought about is incredible. Stunningly good, disciplined performance

Did that just happen? So so happy. They were all fantastic. Coady was superb.

Chuffed, delighted and fuck me a bonifide cup run!!!!!

Totally agree - I texted Deutsch during the game and said something similar - I couldn't imagine Jackett or Zenga masterminding that kind of performance.

Looking forward to Barnsley now, where we will no doubt be shite and lose :icon_lol:

What a performance, brilliant win.

Don't anyone say that loanees don't care.

Aside from the usual stars, a shout-out for three of the much maligned players too - Coady, Saville, Doherty - I thought they were all brilliant today (apart from a certain header, but I'll let that slide).

Almost had two goal of the season contenders in one match too! Glorious runs by Costa and Bod.

got offered a seat from a Liverpool mate yesterday. couldn't turn it down. great to see the away fans in full voice. a couple ropy moments at the end but otherwise a comfortable win. shame bod didn't finish it off.

I know Stears isn't everyone's cup of tea but I thought he was immense today, Costa has 2 assists so gets MOTM for me but Stears runs him close. Weimanns touch to take it round the keeper for the 2nd goal was fantastic, really looking forward to seeing what he can do for us.

Lambert deserves massive credit for that - clear plan & a well prepared team, all of whom exceeded expectations

Have had to go & put the World indoor bowls championship on to calm me down after that

The reason Wolves have won this game is because of an absolutely perfect first 45 minutes. They scored two beautifully worked goals.

In the second half Liverpool huffed and puffed but when you think about it, Wolves thoroughly deserved their win, an outstanding performance

:)

Great performance, listened at work, last 10 mins was torture, all done without the help of Danny Baath, hmm, wonder if that got noticed !!
i think we have got more than the "Norwich" Lambert. Looks like he is growing into this job.Well done Lambert, well done the players !!:)

Lost for words.. Tacticts, team performance and such... Spot on, just GREAT

Amazing game, amazing performance, amazing result.

The chances we missed were streets ahead of anything Liverpool created. Costa looks worth every penny of that 15m.

This is up there for sheer disbelief at how well we performed with the Millenium Stadium for me. Some may feel it's an exaggeration but I'm absolutely over the moon and so proud of every one of them. Special mention for Burgoyne who at 20 and his third professional start didn't let anything overawe him when questions were asked. Lonergan must be third choice when Ikeme returns IMO.

First name in the pot for the fifth round

2nd win on the spin against a premier league opposition in their own back yard

60 minutes for them to have a shot on target

8,000 away fans outsinging the whole of Anfield from start to finish

20 year old keeper in goal against a side containing Brazil, Belgium & Spain internationals.

Three attacking substitutions from the manager

Stevie G on presenting duty absolutely fuming

Proud beyond words.

These are the days that make it all worthwhile. Absolutely over the moon. Get in Wolves!
