The OMG what on earth happened there Liverpool 1 Wolves 2 verdict

Given that a fairly average Premier League defender appears to be worth £12-14m, Costa must be worth about £25m. And when was the last time a Wolves manager got his tactics so bang-on, exactly right?

All these years since that Newcastle game where we have been watching other teams get upsets while we fuck about and let the cup slide. Maybe, just maybe, we could be in for a good run. Let's face it, we won't have too much to play for in league matters so lets fucking go for it.

Comments about the youthful age of the Liverpool team are so far from the mark - doubt that our average age was that much different

And our only 'old man' in Edwards did exactly what was expected of him - very limited in creating anything, but you could see him organising the whole time.

Had worries in the last 10 mins with all our subs made & Evans/Saville & him still on as expected that they were all running on adreneline only by then - but judged perfectly by PL

From RAWK:. "Biggest upset since Iceland beat Liverpool in the Euros" :icon_lol:

The reason Wolves have won this game is because of an absolutely perfect first 45 minutes. They scored two beautifully worked goals.

In the second half Liverpool huffed and puffed but when you think about it, Wolves thoroughly deserved their win, an outstanding performance

:)

So proud of Wolves.
Nice to 'stick it' to all those so-called 'Liverpool fans' from the UAE, Egypt, Jordan and USA. Particularly pleased for Harry Burgoyne - bloody well done.

I really really love hearing Steven Gerrard whinge! His whinny voice is bad enough at the best of times but when he whinges its gets " even weeerse"

de feeerst goal was off siiide

It wasn't. Liverpool number 17 is level with Stears. And neither was the second

Steve McMannan gave us plenty of credit, said we were magnificent. :breakdance:

I thought his commentary was pretty good, fair, balanced and knowledgeable. Ince still comes across as a bell end

I've had a look on the Liverpool forum, they're having a proper Chernobyl type meltdown, the first goal was offside, the ref and linesman were biased,Klopp out, owners out,Liverpool exist to win trophies, and the one that annoyed me,we should be beating tinpot little clubs like wolves!

No-one has mentioned that we made 7 changes from our last league game, and they made 8.

I've had a look on the Liverpool forum, they're having a proper Chernobyl type meltdown,!

After a statement like this before kick off :

"All these nomark teams think can they stroll into our home and easily do a number on us these days.

These teams normally go on to achieve fuck all, but their players and fans live off the fact they put one over us for the rest of the lives.

Let's twat these 6-0 and put a stop to this."

It makes everything so much sweeter :)

It could have been 5-1 quite easily, the silly sausages.

Unbelievable day. The pundits on BEIN sports (Fjortoft & Curbs) were a disgrace today. Firstly going mad we dropped Ikeme and then moaning we made 6 other changes, despite the fact those players beat Stoke but it was OK that Liverpool made 9. Openly admitted they knew nothing about our players...research them you Adrian Chiles wannabees.

Never in doubt. Quirk did try to jinx it mind..

I thought it would take a replay to beat Liverpool, it just shows what I know.
