I think the premiership will be significantly better than it was last season. West Ham & Everton have both strengthened well, Fulham went mad on deadline day and we're stronger than we were.

Some of the top teams (Chelsea & Arsenal) are going through a big transition. Jose at man utd is moaning about not get anyone in and Spurs didn't buy anyone.

I think we're going to see some teams finish in unusual positions this season. The top 6 has the potential to be broken into and there are going to be some decent teams battling relegation.

One of my pet hates too. The Premiership is above the border in Scotland.

Fulham have strengthened, but have a hell of lot of integration to deal with

Everton likewise, but won't be able to deal with it quickly enough to worry us in the first game.

Jose is still miserable

Can someone change the title to EPL thread please :)

Nope sorry Andy, I've had to crack and change it.

"I don't know anything about the players they've signed but they've spent a lot of money on them so they must be good" (sic)

Yep, I'm sure you don't know Rui Patricio, Moutinho or Dendoncker... Give me strength

Anyone heard of this Roderick Miranda chap we have signed on loan?

On one hand, credit to Merson for admitting his limitations and not claiming knowledge that he doesn’t have.

On the other... it’s not very useful, is it?

"We see it every year with teams, though, they win the league and they just stick with what they have. You've got to move forward. McDonald's sell more burgers and chips than anyone but they still do adverts. That's the thing I always think about Premier League winners - you've got to go out and kick on again."

Looks like they have Deano as ghostwriter.

Merson is a Grade A spanner. He sums up Sky Sports perfectly.

“I don’t know any of these players but I’ll grade them anyway”. And where the fuck have grades come from?

Thank you, my EPL request was a joke.

Alka right in the world now

Glad that's settled.

As for Merson....oh dear, the race to be the most stupid on Sky is accelerating.
