The Royals

My son’s girlfriend works at St. James’s Palace (sustainable investments (or something like that anyway)) and the office is due to move shortly and the staff can’t wait.

They can cope with the security ball ache getting in and out, and they can cope with the strict dress protocols, but having to curtsy every time a minor royal walks past gets grating very quickly. There is one heavy door they have to close silently or feel the full-force of royal disapproval, but hey, they do get to use the Buckingham Palace tennis courts (I didn’t know there were any either) free of charge, on the condition you wear full ‘whites’ of course. A nice touch.

I mean, I’m more ambivalent than anti-Royal and our heritage is what it is, but honestly, I think if I had to bow/curtsy every time Princess fu*king Beatrice strolled past that would be me done too.

Charlie and his boys seem to be adept at spreading the Davos way of life. As such they are virtually redundant in their role which was pre-supposed to be retained to some identity that no longer exists. In fact they are just in a self preservation mode and Klaus owns them . ha ha ha

Get rid.

Oh dear. Bad day for Prince Andrew as his civil trial will go ahead.

Alex the not so great likes this on the basis that TV coverage of partygate will be diluted and tomorrows headlines in some newspapers will be changed.

Apparently most likely outcome is he pays her off whilst still protesting his innocence. Michael Jacksonesque

He settled an outstanding dispute on money owed for a Swiss Chalet so that he can sell it to either pay for legal costs or to pay her off.

When it was stated that the chalet was meant to be a nest egg for his girls I thought that he meant Eugenie or Beatrice.

She has to agree to be paid off, and she doesn’t really need the money.

which suggests she has a strong starting bargaining position.
