Excellent game, best performance by England for some time. Thought they weren't going to pull it off with 10 to go, kept turning the ball over in attacking positions but they just had a bit more gas left than France right at the end.
Much better discipline than of late but still need to work on that.

I suppose you are right in that beating England isn’t the be all and end all for France so it is all purely about the game. However I would argue that the key to England v France often being belters is the stylistic clash between French elan and English practical efficiency.

Didn’t seem that way today - France almost seemed like an English team, the odd piece of brilliance aside. Suppose that is Edwards’ influence. Top side though, should be favourites for the WC next time.

Ireland taking their chances well but referees who are pinging every 3 minutes for less than marginal infringements are starting to ruin the game.

Tbf he's given some marginal decisions Englands way too. England started well enough, not giving penalties away and forcing Ireland into a few but as soon as Ireland get a bit of possession and put us under a bit of pressure, we start giving poor penalties away again. We also turn the ball over too easy too often in good attacking positions.....lot of work to do on this England side still imv.

Terrible performance from England. The tactics were wrong throughout the championship apart from France.

The ref was shite.

England look like they’re falling into a period of transition, to many individuals making stupid basic errors as well. Need to move away from Eddie Jones the relationship has run its course.

Heard Eddie O'Sullivan say basically this on the radio, said was the feeling in the Ireland camp if they could get ahead then England might struggle. That goes back to Jones, basic error by him when Farrell had to come off for a HIA, he could have put Ford back on as Fly Half, instead he didnt think and brought on a scrum half to play 10.

We were competant but England didnt really turn up or look up for it.

What a great game, electric first half, second a bit more s top start but that just ramped up the drama.....and a terrific last 10 by France
