The Rugby Thread

Shit tactics (run straight at the world's biggest team and then kick it in the air) played not too lose rather then try to win the game.
Shit execution of tactics.
Shit back 3, couldn't catch a ball between them and couldn't tackle.
Referee got big decision wrong (doubt it would have made much difference with the Lions tactics)
Shit series 1 linebreak between them in 2 games.
In fact next week if they are going to do this again a better alternative would be to stick Ijote and Ezebeth in the middle of the field and let them box the head of each other for 20 mins, would be far more entertaining and save us all a bit of time.

And Will Greenwood can fuck off as well, no idea why someone thought he was a good commentator.

Time for Gats to earn his money.

Looks like we are going to try and play the Boks at their own game. That’ll end well 🙄

Biggar misses his first kick.....
then goes off injured after 11 mins

This is tight. Gutted for Biggar but Finn Russell has been excellent. Four years time I will be at the first Lions test in Brisbane if all goes to plan.

Gutted to loose the series after getting the result in the first test It wasn't pretty viewing with both teams playing a game of percentages over risking anything expansive, but a real arm wrestle in the forwards.

Some bloody tough bastards in that SA pack

World 12s sounds like the world said that the Hundred was the biggest sporting fuck up in history and the rugby chiefs have said “hold my beer”

New competition started tonight United Rugby Championship, which is Pro12 teams plus the 4 South African sides who used to play in Super Rugby.
Due to the format will be at least one South African side playing in Europe next season.

Couple of interesting games tomorrow to see how strong the new teams are ( even though they are missing their internationals at the moment)
Bulls v Leinster & Sharks v Munster.

Looks like it's dead in the water this one, Premiership and French clubs told them they can do one about using their players and with the rugby championship on at the same time they won't be getting best SH players either.

As a Tigers fan, their renaissance under Borthwick has been superb, and hammering Saints always goes down well in these parts.
