The Squad 21/22

I don't think so. Dewsbury-Hall always looks slow on the ball to me, nowhere near the mobility of Moutinho or Cundle. Stronger yes but not mobile. Ndidi is a beast but Donk does that job very well for the Belgian national team.

Comparing MGW to Tielemans is like comparing Neil Emblen to Ruben Neves.

In terms of mobility then I'd take MGW every day, that was the point being made.

I realise you despise MGW and Donk so our conversation is likely to end here.

I don’t despise MGW at all, just seen him play well about three times in his entire time at Wolves.

And bear in mind I see 95% of our games, he must play like Kevin De Bruyne in the 5% I miss to receive some of the plaudits that he gets here on this message board.

Or maybe you're not seeing what we are?

Maybe. You could well be right.

But I’m definitely seeing what most Wolves managers have seen, in that they consider the Championship a more suitable level for him to play his football.

I'd like to know how many games MGW has started for us and played for 60-70+ minutes and also if any of those games were consecutive.
In my memory nearly all of his minutes have been end of game cameos when chasing or holding onto a lead.

We've never consistently played a system which would get the best out of him - still don't really. The only time we did was against Chelsea when he was MOTM. Until we do and you've seen what he offers then I don't see how you can write him off.

I can't remember him ever getting a decent run of games
