The Things That I Really Really DISLIKE Thread.

Not dislike really, more anxious. Container arrives at Port soon after nearly 5 weeks at sea. Be ' interesting ' to see what's made it in one piece and what hasn't.

Fingers crossed Mr PPB survived....

He's alive and kicking and in one piece.... We he was until an hour ago, when we took me mother around HobbyCraft!

Think I would have preferred 5 weeks in a shipping container

Got back ache, so started to to Google 'back pain medicine'.

Got as far as 'back pain' and google autocompleted it to 'back paid cancer'. So that's great.

NEVER look up any illnesses online. You'll be convinced within an hour that you're going to die.

I just wanted to know whether to take paracetamol or ibuprofen that's all. Turns out it's actually chemo tablets I need.

Gone for a great combo of paracetamol and co-codamol in the end.

Shouldn’t take paracetamol with co-codamol as co-codamol already has paracetamol in it. Take it with ibuprofen and that should sort it.

Just checked and it was codeine - think that's ok? Feel a bit blurry now too so i think it's working.

Data analysis.

I dont mind high level analysis through charts and graphs, week on week trends etc.

My heads gets done in when they want the data sliced, diced, and chopped into micro segments.

I know we did 15 Trainings on a topic recently, training 93 people. I know how many hours was spent on it. Now they want impact analysis week on week, Month on month - fine. I can do that. Now they want to know which Market was driving improvement on Phone channels, vs Chat channels. Fine, I can get that data.

Its when they want to know minute details like what was the average call time on a good call, how long was a customer waiting for a response pre-training vs post. Can I analyse all bad surveys and segment by opening channel vs closing channel etc etc. And then compare it to Q4 last year. LOL.

Its 4pm on a Friday, they can get fooked.

Classic case of analysis paralysis!

Nearest thread that fits - I don't like doing it, but it is important.

Got my bi annual teasting kit for bowel cancer screening yesterday so steeled myself to deal with it this morning - it's not pleasant & I won't go into details in case someone is eating when they read this.

It may just save/extend your life though as early diagnosis is critical. Lost a family member to this illness & it's not a great end. If you fall within the age range (65 - 74) & are invited to take part then just hold your nose & do it.

Ah, thats interesting, got one just after my 60th birthday, was wondering why I hadn't had another one since, hadn't realised it was bi-annual
