The things that I really, really like thread...

Cheers guys. It's not as stellar of an opportunity as the one I had in the spring, but it's more than good enough to get my nerves jangling.

Best of luck Alan, have my fingers crossed for you (well I will once I finish typing :) )

her test came back clear, but I don't believe it!
she was ill for about 5 days I think. started being snuffly sunday, but was ok. lost sense of smell and then taste monday. had test tuesday morning. got result back some time the thursday, and started getting her sense of taste and smell back late on the friday.
to see her now, you'd think there was never anything wrong with her, especially seeing as she's prepping the kitchen to paint it! (she's the leedswolf of our house! If she does as good a job as he did, all will be well).

Hoping your good lady merely has a cold mate.

Finally, finally, finally making a wage that I can be independent on.

The drinks are on Alan, make mine a :pint2:

Great news Alan.

Nice one Alan, you can buy all the garish loud football shirts you want now

Well done Alan. Onwards and upwards.

Once COVID is dealt with, I can finally afford to make a pilgrimage to Molineux. I'm genuinely so happy I could cry.

I'll be starting as a Java programmer at a tech consulting firm. Picking up more languages and technologies as I go, pending the needs of our clients.

Excellent

Runs off to Google to find out what the hell Alan has just said :)
