The things that I really, really like thread...

Tbf the choice of background music in Spas has been a major bugbear of mine for years.

I’ve been struggling with this for a while but….

I think Priti Patel has a very attractive face.

(Lights touch paper and walks away).
I mean, if we're talking politicians it would have to be Angela Rayner for me.

Don't mind Bradley Walsh but, along with Martin Kemp, stop trying to foist your kids on us !!

Not sure where to put this but anyway, will stick it here and might provide some mild amusement.

Clearing out the man cave ready for the impending move and found a few bits I’d forgotten about. Some 70’s-tastic bits. Bloody hell, rosettes with metal badges, forgotten about them. A Frank Munro autograph on one I think. Silk scarf, Wolves mirror. Ha, old-skool, great memories.

I'd kill for one of the pennants with the city crest.

Tried walking (or old man's) football for the first time today. Part of my attempt to get some happiness back into my life. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and surprisingly achey as a result! Having not played any kind of football for almost 20 years it was good to play again. Scored on my debut too, made a run (or rather fast walk!) from deep to latch onto a through ball, out pace the hip replacement guy (😂), and side foot into the corner to score the equalising goal in a game that finished 3-3. I'll definitely go again.

Been considering this...where are you playing?

This sounds like oodles of fun and a great way to equalize the fact that I haven't actually touched a football since I was about 7.

Just avoid it all match by hiding behind defenders and moving into areas where you can't possibly receive it and if anyone asks, say you modelled your game on La Liga legend Willian José.

If you are modelling your game on Wiiian Jose then walking football is the right sport as he only ever did that :)

Should have waited for next year’s shirt with the Champions League badge on it…….
Harsh but fair

she is a bar manager for a pub in north Finchley and will be wearing the shirt or one of them while working tonight. That should be interesting given the number of Arsenal supporters that will be there. She won’t care. Will just be hoping for points. She will give her Arsenal supporting brother serious gyp if we win though.
