The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Not as tall but certainly wider and longer.

I went to the Airbus place in Toulouse when I worked for HP, that was fucking massive.

The largest car manufacturer I've been to in the States was tbe Honda facility in Alabama. Took 35 mins to walk from 1 production line to the other

am trying to make mrs jelly a valentines card, seeing as all the shops are shut.
I am shit at drawing, and general crafty or creative stuff. so far, am surprising myself with the acceptable standard! Of course am about 15% into it, so plenty of time to ruin the whole endeavour. But I can imagine what she will think....

Quality is irrelevent, she'll love the fact you've gone to the effort......good shag coming up I'd think

I'll settle for her being happy.
Got to be honest, finding the process of doing it very therapeutic also. I think my head hasn't been good for quite a while, and being engaged in doing something, with some good music on too is making a difference today.

Get Moonpig to do it for you. Costs hardly anything, delivery is always stupidly quick and you can personalise it with as much of your own stuff as you like so you're still making an effort, it'll just look proper :)

did contemplate that. Am expecting she'll be doing something like that, which will blow me away.
Like I say, an actually really enjoying doing this too though. Have really been struggling with a fairly constant feeling of a lack of direction or purpose recently, so having this tiny "project" to work on is doing me good.
I know that I could get something that looks a whole lot more professional. But equally I have an idea how she'll react.
All sounds a bit more selfish when I put it like that though, which isn't the intention!

only done a pencil outline so far. That might be as good as it looks, as there's plenty of time for me to make a mess when I get the pens and colouring pencils out.
It won't be impressive to anyone but her. But it's a bit of fun, and will occupy me for all the evenings this week (except wednesday!) :)

A long walk this lunchtime across the fields a few minutes walk from my house (& I know that I am fortunate to have that) - cold, but sunny & a clear blue sky.

Lifts the spirit and whilst there is still a lot of icy patches around then not dangerous with the right footwear & better if you stay on the grass - most difficult bits are the odd tarmac path I need to use, particularly if it's sheltered & on a slope as it's then potentially lethal.

Last thing I need is to fall & break something.

Whip it out then, lets see it, do it in private if you must !
I copied and pasted that from the last time I asked you

Hearing that more and more family members, and people I know getting their first jab. A good sign surely, and something to be hopeful about, cos fuck me we all need something to be hopeful about.

My mum is scheduled in for next week. No doubt she will be back to lockdown breaking fairly soon 🙄

Haven't heard yet, but can't be far off if they are on schedule

After that then the fines will be for mass afternoon tea dances rather than raves (not for me as I never drink tea :) )

Still waiting for my old man to be contacted. He is in the vunerable list and currently shielding again. Poor bloke has ventured outside twice since last March. Especially frustrating when he hasn't even got a garden he go out into as he lives on the top floor of an apartment block that used to be a hotel.
As he lives in Ilfracombe the roll out seems to be a little behind the rest of the country

My mum is only 71, so the must be going fairly quickly here.
