The only ones there who you think that’s an ok bit of business about are Tierney and possibly Odegaard. The rest are dross or worse.
I quite like Guendouzi, nothing special but at the price they paid I don't think you can have any complaints.

Arteta pulled a proper dick move with him last year.

We wanted him, he wanted to come here (because he'd play). Arteta assured him he was part of his plans, played him in all the friendlies and the August games.

As soon as the deadline passed, dropped him and barely ever used him again.

Not that I care that we didn't get him (he isn't as good at wingback as the other players we own, and I'm not sure he'd make much difference in CM), it's just pathetic management.

Just to add to this...

Arteta coming across a right wanker.

Yeah he really is. At first I thought it was just incompetence but it seems worse than that now

I'm fairly sure AMN would be able to have his contact ripped up if he was prevented from working.

I'm sure there's been a precedent set somewhere recently.
I recall something like this too, but I think it was an EU ruling, so not sure if it would apply in this instance?

Arteta emulating Pep will be worse than Steve McClaren emulating Fergie.

A quote by one of Arsenal's new signing Tomiyasu's agents -

"he was offered to most premier league clubs, he's a good player but not really a right back and not sure how he will get on at Arsenal"

Amazing how Arsenal don't spend anything, for ages, then they give a fortune to the most inexperienced manager they've ever had!

Is it not similar to constructive dismissal? Basically making him so unhappy that he asks to leave thus avoiding paying any compensation? Pretty sure that’s illegal in any workplace isn’t it?

They've kissed and made up apparently... No Ainsley, we really want you to stay and play

James Rodriguez to some jokeshop Qatari club. That went well then.

The South American Sneijder?

Maybe Arshavin is a better comparison point.

Arshavin was okay at times. James phoned it in and gave up the second Carlo left.

To illustrate just how far Barcelona have fallen, they're apparently readying a winter bid for Jesse Lingard, of all people.
