£30m apparently it’s not a bad deal for Saints he’s 29 1 year left on his contract to. Their squad is looking extremely thread bare currently tho.
That's a lot to be fair, especially as you can take him out of 1/4 of the games every season

As said good deal for them plus his injuries will probably become more frequent to. Villa have got tops 3 seasons at his peak with very low re sale value

That really puts Saints in the shit. Bailey Buendia Ings is a good swap for the most annoying player in world football.

I love how they all hate their Jack now.

Good deal for Villa that, he scores for fun

Its worth a gamble from them. If he breaks then they can move Watkins back up top as I'm assuming he'll be shoved wide by Ings arrival.

In the last 3 seasons Ings has played in 24, 38 and 29 games respectively. He's had his injuries in the past but in recent seasons he's had good availability.

£30m is a lot for a 29 year old on the face of it but strikers always come at a premium and a couple of decent seasons easily repay that.

You'd think they are going 442
Buendia-Watkins-Ings-Bailey
Will have the likes of El Ghazi and Traore on the bench

Competent ownership using the Grealish funds to make a more rounded squad. That’s good by them. But I reckon Ings is them done otherwise they hit FFP issues as that is the whole Grealish fee spent. Obviously amortisation may assist but we shall see.

They're bidding for Cantwell as well.

Didn't realise Ings was inhis final year of his contract. Southampton have done superb to get £30m (although Liverpool will get some of it).
Great signing for Villa as well. Some signings you have to ignore the lack of sell on value. If he scores the goals that fires them into Europe or to a Cup then his value has been met.

"A dream come true" apparently.

That'll get them wailing again.

Christ that interview. Grealish is gold medal standard thick. He can barely make a sentence.

The reaction of the Vile fans is embarrassing. He wanted to play Champions League football and agreed a huge release clause which was triggered. For how he’s carried them over the last few years you would think they’d be grateful and wish him well.
The problem is that most of the deluded feckers think they were heading for the Champions League so cant understand why he’d walk away.
I’ve even seen such comments as crowdfunding a statue for the blues idiot that ran on the field and assaulted him.

YouTube jack grealish encyclopaedia only ten seconds but he comes across as a proper mouth breather
